PreppyMeal suggests dinners and builds a grocery list. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Allergies and food safety

Allergy filters are not a guarantee that a meal is safe for you. They only check the ingredients in our recipes. Brands differ, and packaged foods can contain or touch allergens that we can’t see. Always read the label of everything you buy, especially for a severe allergy.

Our recipes are original drafts that have not been tested in a professional kitchen. Use your own judgment, and cook food to the safe temperatures shown in each recipe.

Not medical or nutrition advice

Calories and nutrients are rough estimates. Filters such as high protein, low carb and keto are simple rules we define. They aren’t medical advice or a treatment for any condition. Talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian about your diet, particularly if you are pregnant, managing a health condition or taking medication.

Prices and stores are estimates

Grocery totals use reference prices such as national averages, with package sizes that we model. They are not quotes from any store, and don’t include tax, fees, delivery or membership costs. What you pay will differ.

Store locations come from public directories and may be out of date. Listing a store doesn’t mean it is open, sells an ingredient or has it in stock. Choosing a store doesn’t change your estimate. PreppyMeal isn’t connected to, endorsed by or affiliated with any retailer named in the app, and you can’t buy anything through it.

Your household data

Without an account, your household is tied to a cookie in your browser. If it is lost or expires, we can’t restore your household. With an account, please keep your password private. Automated password recovery isn’t available yet. Contact [email protected] from your account’s email address for help. See our privacy notice for details.

Using the service fairly

Please don’t disrupt the service or try to reach other people’s data. We may limit or block traffic that harms the service.

No warranty

PreppyMeal is free and provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It may change or stop at any time. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from using it, including from relying on its estimates, recipes or filters.

Open data

Store and geographic data come from public sources under their own licenses, listed under Data & sources in the app. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licenses. That includes the OpenStreetMap store data, which anyone may download there and reuse under the Open Database License (ODbL).
